Chesapeake Lodging Buying San Diego Hotels for $97.75M

Chesapeake Lodging Trust has entered into an agreement to acquire what it calls an upper-upscale, full-service hotel in the Union Square area of downtown San Francisco, California for $42.25 million. Chesapeake Lodging Trust has also agreed to acquire an upscale, full-service hotel in downtown San Diego, California for $55.5 million.

Accor Hotels current offer of 3 nights for the price of 2 nights is a straight 33% discount based on the best unrestricted rate, aka BAR, for 3 nights at a participating hotel. Book April 12 to May 16 for hotel stays 12 April to 30 May inclusive. This promotion does not use artificially high rates to get the 3-for-2 deal, so the overall 3-night rate is a good deal.
